How A Heart Coherent Team Changed My Life

In the hustle and bustle of today's fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in the chaos and lose sight of what truly matters. This year, I had the incredible opportunity to work with Suzette West, Founder of Wild Hearts Rising, and little did I know that this work would become a pivotal moment, reshaping how I live and view life. The catalyst for this transformation? A heart coherent team that has not only altered my mindset but has also paved the way for a more serene and focused existence.
The Turning Point
I vividly remember the first day at work with Suzette. The air in the room was charged with positivity, and her energy was contagious. Little did I know that this collaboration would begin a profound transformation in my life. Suzette introduced me to the concept of heart coherence with the help of the resilience training I underwent. She consistently and patiently assisted me with a practice that, in essence, allows you to focus your attention on breathing and exercise your mind to focus and align the heart and brain to bring about a state of harmony and balance.
From Anxiety to Tranquility
Before I started this journey, I was the kind of person who found themselves entangled in a web of depressive thoughts, a daily struggle that fueled anxiety. The constant pressure to keep up with the frantic pace of life had taken its toll on my mental well-being. I remember when I first hopped on a call with Suzette, I was struggling with sleep deprivation. What it does is that whenever I tend to sleep less, the day after makes me so overwhelmed that my mind can't focus on priorities. However, Suzette's guidance and heart-coherence training taught me to take a step back, breathe, and approach life with a newfound calmness.
Embracing the Slow and Steady
One of the most significant changes I've experienced is my shift from a hurried, anxious mindset to one that embraces a slower, more deliberate pace. The heart coherence techniques taught me to navigate life intentionally, savoring each moment instead of rushing through it. With that being mentioned, I was able to decide carefully and focus my attention on my well-being, and for the first time in 5 years, I was finally convinced to take vitamins, eat proper meals, and go out to the gym. This shift has improved my mental well-being and allowed me to be more present in my personal and professional life.
Managing Focus
During the chaos, finding focus can feel like an unattainable feat. However, the heart-coherent practices - I have done every day since then - have been a game-changer in this aspect. By aligning my heart and brain, I've discovered a heightened ability to concentrate on tasks. The once overwhelming demands of my daily life now seem more manageable, and I can approach challenges with a clear and focused mind.
A Heart Coherent Team
The magic, however, doesn't happen in isolation. Suzette, a group of like-minded individuals, and I practice heart coherence as a team. The synergy within the team has been nothing short of remarkable. We support and uplift each other, creating a positive and nurturing environment beyond the workplace. The sense of community and shared commitment to well-being has been a driving force in sustaining the positive changes in our lives.
As 2024 draws to a close, many will likely reflect with appreciation on their material accomplishments, viewing these as key achievements of 2023. However, my perspective differs. The true triumph I've experienced this year lies in my profound personal growth and transformation. It's difficult to fully articulate this journey's immense positive impact on my life.
